What we do
Publishing Support Built Around Your Book
Every manuscript requires a different level of support. MFH Publishers develops a publishing plan based on your book, your goals and the readers you want to reach.
Editorial Development
We help strengthen your manuscript without taking away the voice that makes it yours.
Depending on your book’s condition, this may include:
- Manuscript assessment
- Structural editing
- Copy editing
- Language editing
- Proofreading
Cover and Interior Design
A professionally published book should look credible from the first page to the last.
Our design services include:
- Original front and back cover design
- Print-ready interior layout
- Typesetting and chapter styling
- E-book formatting
- Print-file preparation
You review and approve the design before the book is sent for printing or distribution.
Publishing Preparation
We prepare the technical information and files required to release your book professionally.
This may include:
- ISBN registration
- Barcode preparation
- Copyright-page setup
- Book metadata
- Author biography
- Back-cover description
- Retail pricing guidance
Printing and Production
We arrange the production of your books according to the agreed size, page count, paper, binding and quantity.
Before a larger print run begins, you may receive a sample copy or digital proof for approval, depending on your publishing package.
E-books and Online Distribution
MFH can prepare and submit your book to selected digital and online retail platforms.
The platforms used will depend on your book’s format, territory and publishing plan. These may include Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, Draft2Digital and other suitable channels.
Platform charges, retailer deductions and payment conditions remain subject to each platform’s terms.
Audiobook Production
Selected titles can also be developed into audiobooks.
Audiobook services may include:
- Narration planning
- Voice recording
- Audio editing
- Chapter preparation
- Cover adaptation
- Distribution-file preparation
A separate quotation may be required depending on the book’s length and production requirements.
Rights and Author Earnings
You retain the copyright to your work unless a different arrangement is clearly agreed to in writing.
The income from printed copies that you purchase and sell belongs to you. Royalties from third-party retailers are subject to the retailer’s fees, deductions, payment schedules and account arrangements.
MFH explains these arrangements before distribution so that you understand how your book will be managed.
